2. Colloquially, to rock and roll means to go into action, to do now what is to be done and to do-it with enthusiasm and purpose.

3. Rock and roll music is sometimes associated fast, wild and dangerously living. Christian Slater as Clarence Worley in True Romance (1993) speaks of his idol Elvis Presley in Jailhouse Rock (1957): ' In that movie he didn't give a fuck-about nothing except rock and rolling , living fast, dying young, and leaving a good looking body. I watch that hillbilly, I want to be him so bad .'
